Richard Bennett came to New York from Scranton, Pennsylvania in the
early 1960s, where he soon met and began modeling for Danny Fitzgerald.
Bennett quickly became Fitzgerald's favorite model, lover, collaborator
and muse, inspiring Fitzgerald to surpass the clichés of beefcake photography
After Fitzgerald's death in 2000, Bennett began speaking and writing about the life he had shared with Fitzgerald.
